PLAN YOUR TRIP AT MOUNT SNOW

Located just North of Bennington, VT. Mt. Snow is one of the closest Vermont resorts to the Tri-state area. Of the 739 acres, Mt Snow also boasts 139 acres of hand cleared glades, the most in Southern Vermont. Mt Snow also has the second most lifts and tows (23) in the East, easily moving skiers and riders while cutting down on lift lines. Mt. Snow’s conditions are supported by 136 inches of annual snowfall and it’s 75% snowmaking.

The five areas the Mt. Snow offers have their own distinct personalities. The Main face is filled with cruisers and the learning area, The North Face is known for it’s challenging steeps, Carinthia is where riders will find the Inferno Terrain Park and the Gut superpipe. For sun lovers Sunbrook is the place to be, especially if you like the bumps. Haystack which is only open on weekends and holidays is a little known area with lots of cruisers, steeps and glades and not a lot of crowds.

With too many bars, restaurants and shops to list the best bet is to jump on the ‘Mt. Snow Moover’ and let that take you to the area hotspots, including the famous Snowbarn and it’s live entertainment.

Grand Summit

Grand Summit Resort The Grand Summit Resort Hotel features SKI-IN / SKI-OUT hotel and studio rooms plus one-or two-bedroom condominium units. Guests will enjoy full-service amenities in an elegant setting. Valets parking and bell staff are eager to help all guests make their stay as convenient as possible. Each studio unit and all suites feature fully-equipped kitchen including dishwasher and microwave, as well cable TV with DVD. Deluxe units have a fireplace. Guests can enjoy elegant dining in Harriman’s Restaurant, light fare in the pub or Route 66 Cafe, deli fare in the Grand Country Deli, or simply relax and order room service. There is a full-service convenience store, as well as a ski and sports shop on site, and all guests have free use of the health club which features a sauna, steam room, outdoor heated pool, hot tub, fitness classes, and exercise equipment.

Snow Lake Lodge

Located lakeside with spectacular views of the mountain, Snow Lake Lodge is a real value. A free shuttle will take you to and from the slopes and you are walking distance from a great evening of entertainment at the Snowbarn. After a full day of play, take a soothing sauna or hop into a hot tub. Enjoy a continental breakfast served daily 7 am to 10 am.

Features: 92 rooms and suites. Indoor and outdoor hot tubs. The Lodge is on the Moover Shuttle route for easy access to the lifts and up and down Rt 100. Mt. Snow offers 102 trails on five separate mountains faces, each with its own personality. Terrain breakdown: 14% beginner, 73% intermediate & 13% advanced, all served by 26 lifts including 3 high speed quads, new Bluebird Express six pack, taking you to 1700 vertical feet of skiing or riding.

Seasons Condos

Seasons Condos are conveniently located Slopeside to the Sundance trails. Upper Seasons is considered ski on/ski off, based on natural snowfall as snow is not made throughout the complex. Lower Seasons is considered walk to the trails. Amenities include indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, exercise equipment, locker rooms, and lounge area with game room.

Deer Creek

These one to three-bedroom units are located just a half-mile from the lifts, and a free shuttle ride takes skiers to and from the slopes. Each unit features a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, fireplace, and cable TV with DVD. Each unit sleeps two people per bedroom and two additional people on a sleeper sofa in the living room. Bedding varies among units, please call for details. Guests will also enjoy free use of on-site indoor pool, sauna and hot tub.
