Home to the ‘Black Hole,’ a triple black diamond off of 3640′ Madonna Mountain, Smugg’s has terrain that rips. Upper Liftline, Robin’s Run and Upper F.I.S. give experts all they can handle, but if the terrain is not enough they can play in Prohibition Park.

Intermediates can ‘cruise the blues’ over on Sterling Mountain and test their abilities on the blacks that twist along the peak. If you are into the ‘skate and slide’ there are 23 kilometers for your enjoyment. Novice skiers and riders can sharpen their skills on Morse Mountain and not have to worry about ending up in the wrong place. Those who want to taste snowboarding for the first time can learn at night (4pm-7pm) in special 3 hour group lessons! Another feature at Smugg’s’750 acres of glades. So that means trees’lots and lots of trees’

Smuggler’s ski town has everything one would need. In addition to the outstanding service guests receive, you can enjoy snow sports such as ice-skating, snow tubing (4:30pm-9pm) and 8 kilometers of snowshoe trails. For food and drink any time of day be sure to check out the Mountain Grille in the Meeting House. Dinner is outstanding in the Hearth & Candle and Bootleggers’ Lounge is where you can go to party in the evening. For a quick sandwich and a souvenir be sure to visit the Village Country Store and Deli.
