Hudson River Description:

The Hudson River Gorge, located in Upstate New York’s Adirondack Mountain region, is the perfect place for your next whitewater rafting adventure! Experience the source of the mighty Hudson River as she was meant to be – crystal clear, clean, alive and powerful, as her whitewater thunders alongside incredible 500-foot granite cliffs, and through awesome rapids like Givneys’ Rift, the Narrows, and Greyhound Bus Stopper.

Whitewater rafting is possible thanks to dam releases from Lake Abanakee, which adds extra water to the Hudson River all season long. If you’re looking for a more intense experience featuring the wildest possible ride down the Hudson, schedule your adventure during the Spring season. For an exciting yet slightly tamer whitewater rafting experience on the Hudson, book your trip during the Summer or Fall.

Program Details:

Day one of your trip you will whitewater raft the initial 8 miles in the Hudson River Gorge, you’ll have lunch and then choose from one of the above adventures. During your evening you’ll set up camp along the Hudson river, enjoy a great dinner and enjoy camp around the fire with friends and guests. Day two begins with a hearty breakfast, the final 8 miles of whitewater on the Hudson River Gorge and finishing up with a BBQ dinner.
