If you had the pleasure of a stay at the Ledge Rock at Whiteface you will understand why our hearts are heavy with the passing of our dear friend Dave Baker, owner of the Ledge Rock motel. Our love and support goes to his dear wife Jean and their children as they remember the life they shared with this incredible man.  Dave always greeted you with a warm smile, strong hand shake and an attitude of “what can I do for you.”
My numerous conversations with Dave always expressed a kindness, compassion and understanding that made me look inward to my own being.  I cannot thank Dave and Jean enough for allowing me to be a part of their business, life and family, I will miss Dave very much.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in his name to the St. Agnes Church in Lake Placid.

Much Love & Respect,

Joe Ferrara

If you prefer to spend your vacations on the ski slopes instead of a beach, it can be difficult to plan this type of vacation on a budget. However, if you do your homework, you will be able to find a good price on ski resort packages. A skiing package can often be individualized to your specific needs, but it is important to make sure to discuss what the package includes with your travel agent. Some ski resort packages may include the transportation to and from your home city to the city where you will spend your vacation, lift tickets, room accommodations and meals. Most ski resort packages only include breakfast and dinner, so you will be responsible for lunch.

The ski packages vary depending on the location where you want to ski, how many days you want to spend on vacation and what type of lodging you are interested in. Planning your vacation with a bundled package is typically much less expensive...
